March 1, 2017 was the deadline for each food facility licensed as a class III or IV must have one person certified with Level 2 Food Safety Management Training. This training will provide you with 15 hours of classroom instruction on food safety. Once you receive a passing score on the exam, the Ohio Department of Health will issue an Ohio Certification stating you have been through the training.
If you currently have Level 2 training, please make sure your proctor submitted your score to the Ohio Department of Health and that you receive your Ohio Certification.
